WoodTech Fair 2023: Breakthroughs Leading the Wood Processing Industry

The wood processing industry, which provides products to a wide range of companies in the furniture, construction, interior decoration, packaging, and other industries, is one of the most important industrial branches of Türkiye. The wood processing industry witnessed important developments and innovations in 2023. WoodTech, which is Türkiye's and the region's largest and longest-running trade fair in the field of wood processing machinery, cutting tools and hand tools in this industry, stands out as the business platform where these important developments took place.

The WoodTech Fair reached TL 2.5 billion in exports with 30 percent growth

This year, the WoodTech Fair, the largest specialized fair of the woodworking machinery industry in Eurasia, attracted a total of 22,381 visitors from 98 countries. Opening its doors for the 36th time at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul between October 19-23, 2023 the fair achieved 30 percent growth compared to 2022.

Organized by RX Tüyap in cooperation with the Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AIMSAD) and the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), WoodTech, the 36th International Wood Processing Machines, Cutting Tools, Hand Tools Fair, is preparing to welcome its visitors on October 19-23, 2023 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul.

Turkish and international leading companies of the woodworking industry have taken their places at the fair, which will be held in 10 halls this year.

Preparing to open its doors for the 36th time, WoodTech Fair continues on its way with even more strength!

WoodTech Fair, which has maintained its success of being the biggest specialized fair of the sector in Turkey and in Eurasia for 36 years, will take place at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul on October 19-23, 2023.

This year, foreign visitors left their mark on WoodTech and Intermob, which will be held on separate dates under the roof of Tüyap as of 2023.

425 brands, 681 companies and company representatives attended WoodTech and Intermob Fairs held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between October 22-26. 60 thousand people visited these two major events of wood products, forest products and technologies sectors and the furniture sub-industry sector.

Starting from 2023, these fairs will be held in Tüyap on different dates to be able to respond to this intense interest with more product groups and the number of national and international companies. Intermob will be held between 30 September-3 October 2023, and Woodtech will be held between 19-23 October 2023.

WoodTech and Intermob Fairs hosted more than 51 thousand visitors

Over 51 thousand industry professionals from 112 countries, 9,482 of them foreign, with woodworking machinery and furniture supplier industry for 5 days at WoodTech and Intermob Fairs.

WoodTech and Intermob Fairs, which are among the important meetings of the wood, forestry products and technologies sectors and the furniture sub-industry sector, opened their doors simultaneously once again at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center.
Taking place in 14 halls, the fairs will remain open until October 26, and have attracted great interest from the visitors from the first day.

Countdown Begins for the Highly-Anticipated WoodTech and Intermob Fairs

The wait is almost over for the eagerly-anticipated WoodTech and Intermob Fairs which will be held at the same time for one more time. The fairs will start on 22 October and take place across 14 halls until 26 October.

5 million dollars of business during Tüyap’s first face to face fair

33rd International Wood Processing Machines, Cutting Tools, Hand Tools Fair WoodTech 2020, which is the first face-to-face specialized fair under Tüyap's roof, was flooded by domestic and foreign investors during the recent era. Fair organized by Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc. in collaboration with Woodworking Machinery and Side Industries Businessmen Association (AIMSAD), received full marks from its participants. WoodTech 2020, which is an example for the world as to how to organize a fair under pandemic conditions, has been visited by 6,382 business people from Turkey and abroad. While the majority of the visitors consisted of the qualified investors, more than half of the companies participating in the fair experienced the satisfaction of receiving orders during the term of the fair.
